"A dance holiday like no other!"
Join us for days jam-packed with dance in a beautiful historic setting.
This intensive course will provide a wonderful boost to your technique and performance. We have a huge choice of classes and activities for all levels, with over fifteen fabulous teachers, including JWAAD's most senior and experienced tutors and visiting teachers from the UK and abroad.
You can spend your days taking classes in a wide variety of styles of Middle Eastern and Fusion dance, classes with Egyptian musicians, work on technique, rhythm and choreography. You can book a private lesson with one of our teachers, or you can spend time relaxing in the gardens, swimming in the pool, shopping in the souk, or enjoying a drink in one of the cafe's. Advanced level dancers can join the Professional Performers Development Course with Josephine Wise (more information below).
Evening entertainment includes talks and films, Harem night, fancy dress party, a show in the theatre, our amazing Zar (trance dance), and fun in the common rooms!

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in kitchens and there are two cafes on site. All meals are included, and there is a great choice of dishes at every meal. Vegetarian and vegan diets can be catered for (please state when booking).
2, 5 and 7 day residential courses include all meals, classes and activities, and use of all facilities.
Accommodation is comfortable and modern, though not ensuite. We have many more single rooms than we used to, but we also have twins and 3 and 4 bed dormitories. We can often provide sharers for dormitories, and if you want a twin room with a friend let us know so we can arrange it for you. We always endeavour to put friends together or very close to each other. Please bring toiletries and a towel.
