Biography
Athena Najat began her career in New York, has travelled the world studying dance and culture, and is now based in Athens, Greece. A Greek-American professional dancer, instructor and choreographer with a Master of Arts (MA) degree from New York University in Performance Studies, Athena is a rising star in Oriental dance with a background in Classical Ballet and Modern Dance, as well as other traditional folk dance forms. Awarded Bronze medal from the Nile Festival in Cairo, (Egypt 2009), Athena has been featured dancer / instructor in Japan, Egypt, Turkey, Cyprus, Morocco, Greece, Israel and throughout the U.S.
