ENTRIES FOR THE ISIS COMPETITION ARE NOW CLOSED
This competition celebrates Oriental Belly Dance in all its forms. Dances can be in any authentic Middle Eastern style, including folkloric styles. If props are used, they can include veils, sticks/canes, sagat/zills or skirts/dresses (eg. Khaleegy dress). Dances should be no longer than 5 minutes.

A performance in the Gala of the Stars
An opportunity to teach 2 workshops at the festival

ENTRIES FOR THE CLEOPATRA COMPETITION ARE NOW CLOSED
This competition celebrates Fusion Dance in all its forms. Dances can be in any Fusion style or in styles from other countries other than the Middle East, but must have Middle Eastern influences. This can include ATS, Tribal Fusion, Flamenco/Arab Fusion or any other you have dreamed up! Props can include wings, swords, fanveils, skirts, or anything else. Dances should be no longer than 5 minutes.

A performance in the Friday night show
A free ticket to the Saturday night show

ENTRIES FOR THE PALACE DANCERS COMPETITION ARE NOW CLOSED
All groups can register and in any style with a Middle Eastern slant, including Egyptian, Turkish, Folkloric (e.g. Saidi, Khaleegy, Dabke, Karsilama), Balkan Gypsy, ATS, Tribal Fusion or any other. Dances should be no longer than 5 minutes.

First Prize:
£100 to spend on any dance clothing or costumes available at the Fantasia Souk or the Farida Dance website.
Second Prize: Winners' Medals
Third Prize: Winners' Medals
The competition judges will be announced in the Autumn. They will be experienced and respected dancers and teachers from amongst the star names at Fantasia.
In all categories marks will be awarded for technique, choreography, performance skills, musical interpretation (including expression and phrasing) and presentation (including costume and grooming).
ENTRIES FOR THE FANTASIA 2012 COMPETITIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
Tickets to watch the competitions are free if you have a workshop ticket for that day.
To come to Fantasia without booking a workshop, there is a fee of £4 (cash on the door only). This includes entry to the Souk and to watch the competitions on that day.
