International Teachers and Performers!
We are delighted to welcome dancers/teachers from Belgium, France, Germany, Iran, Iraq, Norway, Sweden and, of course, the United Kingdom. All are famous in their own countries, and some will be teaching and performing in the UK for the first time.
Information on our 2012 teachers, the Fantasia timetable and online bookings, will be available from the beginning of September. So come back then to see our fabulous lineup of teachers.
More Variety than Ever Before!
This year we have more choice than ever. We have a truly amazing choice of subjects, with everything from a variety of Egyptian and Middle Eastern styles to Belly Swing, Burlesque, Cyber Fusion, Poi Spinning, Fearless Floorwork, Feline Fusion, The Walking Dead, Telephatic Tabla Solos and much, much more!
Competitions at Fantasia!
This year we will again be running the wonderful competitions: the Isis Award for Oriental Soloists, and the Cleopatra Award for Fusion Soloists.
We are very excited about this, because we want to show the world that our art form has exacting standards and we know what a fantastic effect winning a competition of this kind can do for a dancer's career. We know how hard it is to become recognised in your own country or abroad, and the extra boost a competition can give is invaluable. As we have dancers from all over the UK and other countries at Fantasia, we expect a rich and varied mix of competitors!
We have three competitions for you, each with its own identity. All competitions take place in the Studio Theatre at Fantasia. If you would like to enter please register early to avoid disappointment, as places are limited.
